Overview
Real Fast Photos respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Real Fast Photos app for iPhone and iPad, the Android app, and our website.
Information we collect
1. Account information
You don't need an account to order in the iPhone app. If you order without signing in, the app creates an anonymous account on your device so your listings have somewhere to be saved. It contains no name, email address or phone number — only a random identifier.
If you choose to sign in, or give us your details, we collect:
- Phone number, used to sign in with a text message code
- Name
- Email address, used to send your receipt and tell you when your photos are ready. On iPhone this is optional.
This information is used only to provide the service, manage your account and contact you about your orders. We do not send marketing email or text messages.
2. Photos and property information
When you use the app to create a listing, we collect:
- Photos you upload or capture
- Property address entered by the user
These photos are uploaded to our secure processing system to provide photo enhancement services.
Each listing and its photos are automatically deleted 90 days after your first download. If you never download them, that's 90 days after they were ready, and for an order that was never completed, 90 days after it was started.
3. Payment information
iPhone and iPad: purchases are made through Apple’s App Store using In-App Purchase. Apple processes the payment. We receive a record of the transaction (such as a transaction number, the item bought, the price and the date), but never your card or Apple Account payment details. Android: purchases are made through Google Play. Google processes the payment, and we receive a record of the purchase (such as an order number, the item bought and the date), but never your card details. Earlier versions of the Android app processed payments through Stripe instead. Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Website: payments are processed through Stripe, a secure third-party payment processor. Real Fast Photos does not store or have access to your full credit card information. Stripe Privacy Policy: https://stripe.com/privacy
4. Location information
We do not collect precise location and do not request location permissions.
Earlier versions of the Android app read your device’s public IP address at checkout to calculate sales tax. That gave an approximate region — typically your state or city — and was used for tax calculation only. Current versions of the apps don’t do this: Apple and Google calculate any tax on their purchases, and on the website Stripe calculates it from your billing details.
Our analytics provider may estimate an approximate region (such as country or state) from your IP address, as described below. We do not use location to track you or build a location history.
5. Usage, diagnostic and device information
To understand how the app is used and keep it working, we collect:
- App usage analytics through Google Analytics for Firebase: which screens are viewed and which steps of ordering are completed, along with device type, operating system, app version and an app-instance identifier. We do not send your name, email address, phone number or property address to analytics, and we do not use analytics for advertising or share it for advertising purposes.
- Crash reports through Firebase Crashlytics: technical details of what went wrong when the app crashes.
- Error logs recorded by the app when something fails, such as an upload, linked to your account so we can help if you contact us.
- A push notification token for your device, so we can notify you when your photos are ready. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
We do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
How we use your information
We use collected information to:
- Provide photo processing services
- Create and manage your listings
- Process payments and keep a record of purchases
- Notify you when your photos are ready, by push notification and, if you gave one, by email
- Understand how the app is used, and improve its performance and reliability
We do not sell your personal information.
Photo processing
Photos uploaded to Real Fast Photos are processed using secure cloud services and a third-party AI photo editing provider, RealtyEdit, which applies automated editing to your images. The property address is sent with the photos as the listing name. The app asks your permission before your first order is sent for AI editing. We use your photos solely to provide the editing service you requested; we don’t use them to train models, and we don’t share them with anyone except the providers that make the service work. RealtyEdit keeps the photos you upload for about 30 days and the edited photos for about a year, under its own policies.
Deleting a listing removes the photo copies we store, the download file we create for it, and the listing record. Our editing provider keeps its own copies for the periods above, and they aren’t removed when you delete a listing with us. Orders edited before September 2026 were processed by our previous provider, Fotello, under its policies.
Data sharing
We may share limited information with trusted service providers necessary to operate the app, including:
- Cloud storage, sign-in, notifications, analytics and crash reporting (Google Firebase)
- Automated photo editing (RealtyEdit; previously Fotello)
- Payment processing (Apple on iPhone and iPad; Google Play on Android; Stripe on the website and in earlier Android versions)
- Email delivery for receipts and “photos are ready” messages (Resend)
- An IP lookup service, used only by earlier versions of the Android app to determine the sales tax rate
These providers only receive the information necessary to perform their services, and we require them to protect your information with the same or equal protection described in this Privacy Policy.
Data security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission and secure cloud storage.
While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children's privacy
Real Fast Photos is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your privacy rights
If you signed in, you can delete your account and its listings in the app: Settings → Delete Account. If you ordered without signing in, use Settings → Delete My Listings and Data.
You can withdraw your consent at any time. Turn off notifications in your device settings, and to stop analytics and the sending of photos for editing, stop placing orders and delete your listings or account as described above. Photos already sent for editing are kept by our editing provider for the periods described under Photo processing.
You may also request deletion of your data — including listings made without signing in — by emailing support@realfastphotos.com or through the form on our contact page.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
